About Tap Forms Pro
Tap Forms Pro is an Apple-only database app from Tap Zapp Software, the successor to the long-running Tap Forms 5. You build forms with fields for text, dates, photos, locations, barcodes and more, then store records for collections, recipes, inventories, customers, research notes or small-business tracking. It supports custom layouts designed separately for Mac, iPhone and iPad, a report generator, tags, cascading pick lists, scripting and an AI form generator, and a template library gets you started. Data stays on your devices and syncs through iCloud, Dropbox, WebDAV or directly between nearby devices, without a vendor cloud. It is sold as a subscription through the App Store, with monthly and yearly options for individuals and families and a two-week trial on yearly plans. Collaboration is limited compared with web databases: there is no browser version, nothing for Windows or Android, and sharing with colleagues relies on sync rather than real-time multi-user editing.
Best for: Apple users who want a private, offline database for personal or small-business records.
