About Teable
Teable is an Airtable-style database that stores everything in PostgreSQL, so tables can grow to millions of rows and stay queryable with ordinary SQL. The interface offers the familiar grid, kanban, gallery, form and calendar views, linked records and formulas, with real-time collaboration. The company now markets it as an AI spreadsheet: an assistant can build bases, generate fields and run automations, and AI credits are bundled into every plan. There is an open-source edition you can self-host, and a commercial version that adds enterprise features such as AI workflows, advanced automation and role-based permissions. The cloud has a free plan for individuals and Pro and Business plans charged per seat, with a large discount for yearly billing. It runs in the browser and can be self-hosted with Docker. Teable absorbed the users of the earlier undb project when that was archived. It is younger than Baserow or NocoDB, so expect faster change and a smaller set of integrations.
