About Wiz
Wiz is a cloud security platform that connects to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle and Kubernetes environments through APIs and builds a graph of every resource, identity, vulnerability, misconfiguration and data store. The graph lets it flag combinations of issues, such as a public-facing VM with a critical vulnerability and admin permissions, rather than listing each problem separately. The product is split into Wiz Code for scanning repositories and pipelines, Wiz Cloud for posture and vulnerability management, and Wiz Defend for runtime detection and response, with an optional sensor for live workload monitoring. Because the core scanning is agentless, large organisations can cover many cloud accounts quickly, which helped Wiz spread fast among big enterprises. Wiz is now part of Google Cloud but still supports other clouds. Pricing is quote-based, with bundled packages and à la carte options.
