About Ziteboard
Ziteboard is a lightweight online whiteboard that runs in any browser and is optimised for touch and pen use, especially on iPad Safari and Chrome on laptops. It offers a zoomable real-time canvas with pens, shapes, text, image and PDF import, and built-in text, audio and video chat on paid plans, which makes it popular with online tutors and teachers who need to explain maths or diagrams live. There are also apps for iPad and Android, a free Chrome extension and a WordPress plugin for embedding boards. The free Starter plan lets you own a few boards with unlimited collaborators but limited data and lower-resolution PDF import, and Pro is available as a one-week pass, a monthly subscription or an annual plan; teams and enterprises can get custom deployments with an API, white-labelling and a dedicated server. It is far simpler than Miro or Mural, without templates or workshop features, but that simplicity is the point for one-to-one teaching.
