About Explain Everything

Explain Everything is a digital whiteboard designed for teaching. Teachers build lessons on an infinite canvas with drawing, text, shapes, images, documents, presentations, audio and video, then deliver them live in collaborative sessions or record them as video tutorials that students can replay. Students can work on the same board in real time, and teachers can share projects or recordings by link and through learning platforms. The company has joined Promethean, the interactive display maker, and offers bundles with Promethean's tools. A free plan lets you try it with a small number of projects and limited slides, while the Advanced plan for individual teachers unlocks unlimited projects, slides and recording; schools and districts can buy custom plans with LMS integrations, admin controls and training. It runs on iPad, iPhone, Chromebooks, Android and in the browser on desktops. Outside education, it is not a substitute for business whiteboards, but for flipped classrooms and recorded explanations it is a strong fit.

Best for: Teachers who create interactive lessons and recorded video explanations.
