About Milanote
Milanote is a visual workspace for creative people: designers, filmmakers, writers, photographers, marketers and game developers. Instead of a blank infinite canvas, it offers boards within boards where you drop notes, images, links, videos, files, to-do lists, sketches and colour swatches, then arrange them into moodboards, storyboards, creative briefs or project plans. A web clipper saves images and pages from the web straight into a board, and templates cover common creative tasks. Boards can be shared with clients and team members to edit, comment or view. The free plan has no time limit but caps you at a fixed number of notes, images or links and file uploads, while unlimited shared boards are included; paid plans priced per person or as a team bundle remove those caps. It works in the browser, with desktop apps and apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. It is less suited to live workshops or technical diagrams, but for collecting and arranging creative material it is excellent.
Best for: Creative professionals building moodboards, storyboards and project plans.
