About Allstate Identity Protection
Allstate Identity Protection is the consumer identity theft service run by InfoArmor, a subsidiary of the Allstate insurance group. It sells individual and family plans in tiers: a low-cost restoration-only plan that just handles recovery if your identity is stolen, then Essentials, Premier and Blue plans that add credit monitoring, dark web alerts, financial transaction monitoring and expense reimbursement for fraud. The top Blue tier goes further into privacy and cyber protection, with three-bureau credit monitoring, an anti-tracker, parental website filtering and social media monitoring for kids. Family plans cover you plus up to 10 members, which makes the per-person cost low for larger households. Many people get it as an employee benefit, and it can also be bought directly with a 30-day free trial that needs a card. It runs as a web portal and mobile app, and the coverage is built for US residents with US credit files and bank accounts.
Best for: US families and employees who want identity monitoring with low per-person family pricing.
