About Awesome Screenshot
Awesome Screenshot is a long-running browser extension that combines full-page and region screenshots with screen and camera recording. Screenshots open in an annotation editor with arrows, text, blur and cropping, and recordings can be trimmed and shared as links from its cloud workspace, or saved locally. It integrates with tools such as Google Drive, Trello, Slack and Asana so captures can be sent where work happens. It has been around for more than a decade and has millions of users through the Chrome Web Store. A free tier covers basic capture with limits on cloud storage and recording length, and paid plans remove limits and add team features. Being an extension, it is quick to start and works on Chromebooks, but it is less suited to capturing desktop apps, games or long high-quality recordings than native recorders, and its interface carries a fair amount of upselling.
