About BambooHR

BambooHR is one of the most popular HR systems for small and mid-sized businesses. It gives HR teams a central employee database with self-service profiles, time-off tracking, onboarding and offboarding checklists, e-signatures, reporting, and an applicant tracking system, with performance management, employee surveys and US payroll and benefits administration available on higher plans or as add-ons. It is known for being easy for employees and managers to use and for a large marketplace of integrations with payroll, benefits and IT tools. Pricing is quote-based but published in outline: a flat monthly rate for companies with 25 or fewer employees and per-employee pricing above that, across Core, Pro and Elite tiers. It runs in the browser with iOS and Android apps. The usual criticisms are that reporting and workflow customisation are limited for complex organisations and that US payroll is the only native payroll.
