About Bitpanda
Bitpanda is a Vienna-founded investment platform aimed mainly at retail investors in Europe. One account covers hundreds of cryptocurrencies, fractional stocks and ETFs, crypto indices and physically backed gold, silver and other metals, with savings plans for recurring buys. It is a broker-style app first: you buy from Bitpanda at a quoted price, while a separate advanced trading product, Bitpanda Fusion, offers an order book for more active traders. Its main selling point is regulation: it holds MiCA licences in Austria, Germany and Malta and publishes its security certifications. Opening an account is free; costs come from spreads and trading fees, with a flat fee per stock trade. It runs on the web and on iOS and Android. People outside Europe have fewer reasons to choose it, and the range of features differs by country.
Best for: European investors who want crypto, stocks, ETFs and metals in one regulated app.
