About CoinDCX
CoinDCX is one of India's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, founded in 2018. Indian users complete KYC, add a bank account and deposit rupees to buy and sell hundreds of cryptocurrencies. A simple instant-buy mode suits beginners, while the full exchange offers spot order books, margin trading and futures, plus an API for automated trading and sub-accounts for managing separate strategies. There are earning products for staking-style returns and a separate Web3 section. Trading fees are charged per trade, with lower tiers for high-volume traders. CoinDCX's Indian operating entity is registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit. In July 2025 an internal operational account was hacked; the company said customer funds were not affected and covered the loss itself. It runs on the web, iOS and Android, and is aimed at Indian residents.
Best for: Indian investors and traders who want a large rupee crypto exchange with futures and an API.
