About Capy Reader
Capy Reader is a small, focused RSS reader for Android built by an independent developer. It supports Feedbin, FreshRSS and Miniflux as sync backends, including self-hosted servers that speak the Google Reader API, as well as local-only feeds if you don't want an account anywhere. A full-content mode fetches the complete article from the original site when a feed only provides a summary, and the interface concentrates on reading rather than on a long list of settings. The app is completely free with no ads or in-app purchases, open source under the GPL, and available on Google Play, F-Droid, IzzyOnDroid and GitHub for devices running Android 11 or newer. Development is by a single maintainer, so support for additional services is limited, and there is no iOS or desktop version. It suits Android users of Feedbin or a self-hosted reader who want a clean native client.
Best for: Android users of Feedbin, FreshRSS or Miniflux who want a clean native client.
