About Feedbin

Feedbin is an independent, subscription-funded feed reader known for a calm interface and a clear business model: one plan, everything included, no ads and no tracking. Besides RSS it gives each account a unique email address for newsletters, plays podcasts with remembered positions, follows YouTube channels and playlists in order, and can follow Mastodon accounts. It extracts full text from partial feeds, offers an expressive search syntax with saved searches, and runs actions that star, mark read or notify you when something matches. Feedbin works well on its own in the browser, and it is also one of the most widely supported sync services for native apps such as NetNewsWire, Reeder, Unread, Capy Reader and many others. It costs a modest monthly or yearly fee after a 30-day free trial that needs no credit card. There is no free tier, and power features like complex rules or social listening are more limited than in Inoreader.

Best for: Readers who want a clean, private feed service that syncs with their favourite apps.
