Cloudcraft has been acquired. Acquired by Datadog; now offered as part of the Datadog platform.

About Cloudcraft

Cloudcraft became popular for its clean, isometric AWS diagrams that could be drawn by hand or generated automatically by connecting a cloud account. Datadog acquired it, and it now lives inside Datadog as a live infrastructure map: it reads what Datadog already collects and draws AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud and VMware vSphere environments, then overlays alerts, logs, security findings and cost data on the diagram. Multi-account and multi-region setups appear on one picture that updates as infrastructure changes. Cloudcraft is included free with any Datadog subscription, with extra overlays tied to Logs, Cloud Cost and Cloud Security products. That makes it excellent for teams already on Datadog, but it is no longer a standalone diagramming tool you would adopt on its own, and it is not meant for non-cloud diagrams.

Best for: Teams on Datadog who want always-current diagrams of their cloud infrastructure.
