About IcePanel

IcePanel is a web-based tool for modelling software architecture using the C4 model. Instead of drawing separate pictures, teams build a shared model of systems, apps, components and their connections, then create diagrams at different levels of detail from that model, so a change in one place shows up everywhere. Viewers can zoom from a high-level context view down into individual services, overlay tags such as ownership or technology, and step through flows that show how requests move through the system. It has integrations with tools engineering teams already use and a REST API. The free plan supports a single editor and is aimed at trying it out or solo developers; paid Growth and Scale plans are billed per editor and come with a free trial. It is narrower than general diagram tools but more structured than drawing architecture by hand.
