About CodeRabbit
CodeRabbit is an AI code review tool. Once installed on GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps or Bitbucket, it reviews every pull request with a summary, line-by-line comments, suggested fixes and diagrams, and learns from how your team responds to its feedback. It can also review changes before a pull request exists, through IDE extensions for VS Code and its forks, a CLI, and inside coding-agent loops such as Claude Code, so AI-written code gets checked before humans see it. Higher tiers add security and dependency analysis, repository-wide scans, and an engineering agent you can assign tasks to from Slack. Pricing is per developer per month in Essentials, Team and Advanced tiers with a 14-day trial, and an Enterprise plan with self-hosting options; it's free for public open-source repositories. It's one of the most installed AI apps on GitHub. It suits teams that want automated review as AI tools increase the volume of code to check.
Best for: Teams that want automatic AI review on every pull request.
