About Cronometer
Cronometer is a food and nutrition tracker built around data accuracy. Instead of relying mostly on user-submitted foods, it leans on verified and lab-analysed sources, and it breaks your diet down into up to 95 nutrients and compounds, so you can see vitamins and minerals as well as calories and macros. Logging works by search, barcode scan (free), photo or voice, and it syncs with health apps and wearables to pull in exercise and biometrics. It has settings for specific diets such as keto or vegan, plus recipe and meal tools and reports. The free version is fairly complete; the paid Gold tier adds more analysis and convenience features, and Cronometer Pro is a separate product for dietitians and coaches working with clients. It runs on the web, iPhone and Android. The trade-off: the interface is denser and more numbers-heavy than MyFitnessPal or Lose It!, and the food database is smaller, so some branded or restaurant foods may be missing.
Best for: People who want accurate micronutrient tracking, and dietitians working with clients.
