About DbGate

DbGate is a database manager made by a small Czech team that handles MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, CockroachDB, ClickHouse, MongoDB and Redis, among others, from one interface. A notable feature is that the same app runs as a desktop program on Windows, macOS and Linux or as a web application you host yourself, for example in Docker, so a team can share a browser-based client. Features include a data grid with filtering and foreign-key lookups, a SQL editor with autocomplete, a query designer, charts, ER diagrams, import and export of CSV, Excel, JSON and XML, and archive files. The Community edition is free and open source under the GPL-3.0. Premium adds tools such as data compare and deploy, AI chat with your database, master-detail views and advanced import and export, sold monthly or yearly, with a team edition for shared web deployments and a free trial. The interface is busier than some rivals, but it is one of the few free tools spanning SQL, MongoDB and Redis.

Best for: Developers and teams who want one free client for SQL, MongoDB and Redis, on desktop or web.
