About DbVisualizer

DbVisualizer is a Swedish-made universal database tool that has been around for more than two decades. It connects to Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Db2, SQLite, Cassandra and many more, with validated support levels for each. It provides a SQL editor with autocomplete and formatting, a visual query builder, object browsing and editing, ER-style references graphs, data export, explain plans and scripting. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with installers that bundle Java. The free edition covers the essentials. Pro is sold as an annual subscription per user, but each purchase includes a perpetual licence for the versions released during the term, so the software keeps working if you stop paying; renewals are cheaper than the first year. A free trial of Pro is available. The interface is functional rather than modern, and the free tier lacks many productivity features, but it is a dependable choice for teams that use many database types.

Best for: Teams working across many database types who want a supported, stable client.
