About Navicat Premium
Navicat Premium is the flagship of Navicat's database tools, made by PremiumSoft in Hong Kong. One application connects to MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB, Redis and Snowflake, along with their main cloud variants. Beyond a SQL editor and data grid it is known for productivity tools that many free clients lack: data and structure synchronisation between databases, data transfer and migration, import and export wizards, a visual query builder, a model designer, backup scheduling and automation, and AI assistance in recent versions. It runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, and a licence key can be used on any of them. Navicat Premium is sold mainly as a perpetual licence per user with a period of maintenance, with subscriptions as an option and a free trial. There is also a free Navicat Premium Lite with the core features. It is expensive for individuals, but popular with DBAs and companies that need reliable migrations across many database types.
