About DWService

DWService is a remote access service run by a small independent team. You install a lightweight open-source agent on a Windows, Linux or Mac machine (or run it without installing), then reach it from any web browser to get the screen, a file manager, a shell, a text editor, resource and log viewers. There is no client to install on the device you connect from, which makes it handy for reaching headless Linux servers and Raspberry Pi boards as well as desktops. Every feature is free; the only limit on the free plan is bandwidth, and optional subscriptions buy faster sessions and help fund the project. Agents can also be shared with other users. Because it is browser-based, the remote screen is less responsive than native apps like AnyDesk or Parsec, and there are no mobile apps beyond the browser. It is a good fit for hobbyists and small admins who want something free that just works.

Best for: Hobbyists and small admins who want free browser access to desktops and headless servers.
