About Padlet
Padlet lets you create shareable boards where people add posts with text, images, links, videos, audio recordings, drawings and files, arranged as a wall, grid, timeline, map, stream or columns. It is hugely popular with teachers for class discussions, exit tickets and project galleries, and with teams for collecting feedback or planning events, because contributors can post without much instruction. Padlet Sandbox adds a freeform whiteboard canvas for lessons and activities, and AI tools can generate boards and activities from a prompt. Moderation, content safety filters and school-managed accounts make it suitable for younger students. The free plan limits the number of padlets you can make and upload sizes; individual paid plans raise those limits, and Team, Classroom and School plans add user management, analytics and admin controls. It works in the browser with iOS and Android apps. It is not designed for detailed diagrams or large workshops, but for collecting contributions from a group it is very easy.
Best for: Teachers and groups collecting posts, media and feedback on a shared board.
