About Faugus Launcher
Faugus Launcher is a small Linux app for playing Windows games that are not on Steam. You add a game by pointing it at an installer or executable, choose a Proton build, and it runs the game through UMU-Launcher, the tool that lets non-Steam games use Proton with the same game fixes Steam applies. Each game gets its own prefix, and you can toggle common options such as MangoHud, GameMode and DXVK settings, add desktop shortcuts, or create Steam shortcuts. It aims to be simpler than Lutris or Bottles, with one plain list of games instead of store integrations or install scripts. Faugus is free and open source under the MIT licence and is distributed through Flathub and several distribution repositories. Because it leaves installation to you, it does less hand-holding for games that need specific tweaks, and it does not connect to Epic, GOG or other store accounts.
Best for: Linux gamers who want a minimal way to run non-Steam Windows games with Proton.
