About Fiery Feeds

Fiery Feeds, from indie developer voidstern, is a feed reader built for people who want lots of control. It connects to Feedly, Feedbin, Fever, Inoreader, NewsBlur, BazQux, The Old Reader, FreshRSS and Tiny Tiny RSS, or runs local and iCloud feed accounts, and it syncs both ways with Instapaper, Pocket and wallabag for read-later. Articles can be shown as the feed provides them, as an inline web page or as extracted text, with the choice remembered per feed. Layouts range from three panes to a single slim column, and smart views such as Hot Links and high- and low-frequency folders help when catching up on many feeds, along with word-count filters and saved searches. Themes, fonts and VoiceOver support are thorough. It is one universal app for iOS, iPadOS and macOS, free to download with an optional subscription that unlocks Pro features on all devices. The many options take time to learn.

Best for: Power users on Apple devices who want fine control over layouts and views.
