About Feedbro
Feedbro is a free feed reader that runs entirely as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave and Vivaldi. It reads RSS, Atom and RDF feeds, organised into folders, with several reading views and keyboard navigation. Its standout feature is an advanced rule engine: rules can fire when an article arrives or is viewed, match on title, author and content using words, fragments or regular expressions, and trigger desktop notifications, sounds, highlighting, hiding or deletion. It can also read feeds from intranet sources. Because everything lives in the browser, there is no account, no server and no subscription; the developer claims more than 150,000 daily active users. The flip side is that there is no mobile app and no cloud sync between devices beyond what the browser provides.
Best for: People who want a free reader inside their desktop browser with strong filtering rules.
