About Femometer
Femometer started as a basal body temperature thermometer and fertility app and has moved towards smart rings made for women. The rings measure finger temperature overnight and feed the Femometer app, which uses those readings with sleep, heart and activity data to show cycle phases, predict ovulation and track changes through perimenopause and menopause. The range includes a first-generation ring, a Gen 2 ring with a ceramic finish and a slimmer Ring Air, and the newer two add SoMind, an AI health coach that answers questions in plain language. The app is free to download and can be used for manual logging, but its main value comes from the ring, which is a separate hardware purchase. It suits people who want automatic temperature-based cycle tracking without taking their temperature every morning. Those who just want a period diary, or who already own an Oura or similar ring, may not need it.
Best for: People who want automatic temperature-based cycle and ovulation tracking from a ring.
