About Gleek
Gleek is a small online tool for people who would rather type than drag shapes. You write descriptions in its own short syntax and it draws informal diagrams, flowcharts, UML class, sequence and state diagrams, Gantt charts, user journeys and entity-relationship diagrams (in Chen or crow's foot notation) as you go. An AI chat can generate or edit diagrams from plain-language requests on paid plans. The free plan is generous enough to try it but limits you to a handful of files and a few dozen objects per diagram, shows ads, exports only PNG and stores diagrams in your browser rather than the cloud. Premium plans are priced in euros, with a per-activity option and team and student plans, and there is no free trial. Gleek is quicker to learn than PlantUML and needs no installation, but it is a niche indie tool with a smaller feature set and community.
Best for: Developers and analysts who want quick text-typed diagrams in the browser.
