About HabitShare
HabitShare is a habit tracker built around friends. You add habits with daily or weekly goals and reminders, then decide, habit by habit, which friends can see your progress. Friends can follow along, cheer each other on and message about missed days, which gives the kind of gentle social pressure that solo trackers lack. By default every habit is private, so you can keep some to yourself and share others with a running partner or a study group. The app is completely free, with no subscription tier, and runs on iPhone and Android so mixed groups can use it together. The trade-off for the price is a fairly basic feature set: there are no integrations with health apps, few chart options and no web version, and the design has not changed much over the years. It works best when the accountability matters more than the analytics.
Best for: Friends or small groups who want to keep each other accountable on habits for free.
