About Homebase
Homebase is built for small businesses with hourly staff, such as restaurants, shops and service companies, mostly in the US and Canada. Its free plan covers scheduling, a time clock, team messaging and POS integrations for one location with up to ten employees, which many small businesses never outgrow. Paid plans are priced per location per month and add advanced scheduling, labour cost controls, GPS time tracking, hiring and onboarding, HR compliance tools, performance and retention features, and payroll can be added to any plan, run from the timesheets. There is a free trial of the top plan. It runs in the browser with iOS and Android apps. It is not an HRIS for salaried office teams, its HR features are basic, and per-location pricing becomes expensive for chains with many sites.
