About Lire

Lire is an RSS reader for iPhone, iPad and Mac built around one problem: feeds that only carry a summary and push you to the website for the rest. Lire automatically converts partial feeds into full-text ones on the device, so you can read complete articles inside the app, and once they are cached you can keep reading without a connection. It still lets you open the original page when you want to. Beyond that it covers the everyday basics of a feed reader in a native interface. It is a paid app from a small independent developer, sold through the App Store with a demo available on the website, and there is no Android, Windows or web version. It suits commuters and frequent travellers on Apple devices who want complete articles available offline.

Best for: Apple users who read offline and hate truncated feeds.
