About MeisterTask

MeisterTask is a board-based task and project manager made by Meister, the company behind the MindMeister mind mapping app. Projects are Kanban boards with sections, and tasks carry checklists, attachments, time tracking, tags and custom fields. Section automations can assign people, add checklists or notify others when a task moves, and paid plans add timeline (Gantt-style) views, reports and multiple project dashboards. Its strength is a calm, attractive interface that suits marketing, creative and general business teams who find Jira or Wrike overwhelming, and its link to MindMeister lets you turn mind map ideas into tasks. It is not built for complex dependencies or portfolio planning. A free plan covers individuals with a limited number of projects, and Pro and Business plans are charged per user per month. MeisterTask runs in the browser with desktop apps for Mac and Windows and mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Best for: Small business and creative teams that want tidy Kanban boards with light automation.
