About Navi
Navi is an Indian personal-finance app that bundles several regulated products under one login. Its UPI feature handles everyday money transfers and shop payments, and the same app offers instant cash and personal loans from Navi Finserv, an RBI-registered NBFC, along with home loans and loans against property. It also sells health insurance through Navi General Insurance and lets you invest in Navi's own low-cost index mutual funds starting from small amounts. Loan applications are fully digital with minimal paperwork, and money is usually sent straight to your bank account once approved. The app itself is free to download and use; Navi earns through loan interest, insurance premiums and fund fees, and the interest rate you get depends on a credit assessment. It suits salaried Indians who want quick unsecured credit and payments in one place. The main catch is that the investing side only covers Navi's own funds, so it isn't a full broker. Navi runs on Android and iPhone and is available only in India.
Best for: Indian users who want instant personal loans, UPI payments and simple index funds in one app.
