About Notta
Notta transcribes online meetings, live conversations and uploaded files, and generates AI summaries. You can record via a bot that joins Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, or bot-free from the Notta desktop app for Mac and Windows, the Chrome extension, or iOS and Android apps; there is also a small Notta Memo recorder that sticks to your phone. Distinctive options include bilingual transcription, which handles two languages in one conversation, real-time translation, and on-device transcription that keeps audio on your device. Notta is popular in Japan and Asia as well as the West. The free plan gives a modest number of transcription minutes per month with a short limit per conversation; Pro, priced in US dollars and much cheaper billed annually, raises minutes and recording length, and Business adds unlimited transcription and team features. Accuracy is good for common languages, but summaries are less sophisticated than the leading notetakers.
Best for: Budget-minded users who need transcription across languages, including bilingual calls.
