About Backlog
Backlog is a project management and issue tracking tool made by Nulab, the Japanese company behind Cacoo and Nulab Pass. It combines tasks with custom statuses, Gantt charts, Kanban boards, burndown charts, wikis and file sharing with built-in Git and Subversion repositories, so smaller software teams can keep code, bugs and plans in one service. The interface is friendly enough for designers, marketers and clients to file and follow issues, which is why it is used by agencies and mixed teams as well as developers. Importers help teams move over from Jira and Redmine, and an open API supports custom integrations. Its Git hosting is basic compared with GitHub or GitLab, and some advanced features sit on higher tiers. Pricing is a flat monthly price per plan with user limits rather than per seat; there is a free plan for up to ten users and one project. It runs in the browser with iOS and Android apps.
Best for: Small mixed teams that want issue tracking, Gantt and Git hosting together.
