About AnyList

AnyList started as a shared grocery list and grew into a combined list, recipe and meal-planning app. Lists group items by aisle category as you type and sync instantly with everyone you share them with, which makes it popular with couples and families splitting the shopping. You can collect recipes from websites using its import tools and browser extensions, scale ingredient quantities, and tap ingredients to add them to the list. The free version covers lists and basic recipes; the AnyList Complete subscription, sold per year for an individual or a household, adds the web and Mac apps, recipe web import, a meal-planning calendar, item photos, prices with running totals, store filters, location reminders and themes. It's strongest on Apple devices, with iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and Siri support, and also has an Android app and a web version. It's made by a small company, Purple Cover, and has no ads.

Best for: Couples and families who share grocery lists and want recipes and meal plans in the same app.
