About SmartRecruiters

SmartRecruiters is an enterprise talent acquisition platform used by large organisations for global and high-volume hiring. Its SmartOS platform includes an applicant tracking system, candidate CRM, onboarding, SMS messaging, job distribution and dynamic scheduling, with AI features under the Winston brand for matching, screening and hiring agents. It integrates with HR systems and has close links to SAP SuccessFactors, since SAP acquired SmartRecruiters in 2025. Pricing starts in the tens of thousands of dollars a year on the Essential plan, with higher plans quoted. It runs in the browser with iOS and Android apps. It suits enterprises with complex, multi-country hiring; it is far more than small companies need, and customers should watch how its roadmap evolves inside SAP.

Best for: Large enterprises running high-volume or multi-country hiring.
