About Stormboard
Stormboard is a Canadian online whiteboard aimed at teams who want their brainstorming to produce structured, reusable data. Boards, called Storms, use sticky notes, templates and sections, and every idea can be voted on, tagged, assigned and exported as a detailed summary report rather than just an image. Smart templates for agile ceremonies, SAFe PI planning, SWOT analyses and retrospectives give sessions structure, and integrations connect to Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams and other tools. A free personal plan lets you try it with a limited number of members per Storm, and paid plans are priced per member, with guests not taking a paid licence; Business includes a 30-day free trial. Stormboard highlights data hosting options in Canada and elsewhere for organisations with residency requirements. The canvas is more structured than Miro's and feels less freeform for drawing or diagramming, but for teams that care about turning workshops into documented outcomes, it fills a useful niche.
Best for: Agile and enterprise teams that need workshop output turned into reports and data.
