About Sublime Merge

Sublime Merge is the Git client from Sublime HQ, the Australian company behind Sublime Text. It shares that editor's focus on speed and keyboard use: a custom Git reading library, a command palette, find-as-you-type search over commits, authors, paths and contents, and Sublime Text's syntax highlighting in diffs. Staging works by file, hunk or individual line, and there is a built-in three-way merge tool, blame, file history, submodule management and Git-flow support. It shows the actual Git commands it runs, which helps people who move between the GUI and the terminal. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. You can download and evaluate it for free with no enforced time limit, but a licence must be bought for continued use; licences are perpetual with a period of updates. The interface is plain compared with graph-first clients and there are no hosting-service integrations for pull requests, so it suits people who care about speed more than integrations.

Best for: Keyboard-driven developers who want the fastest possible Git GUI on any OS.
