About Submagic

Submagic is a browser-based editor for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. Upload a talking-head video and it transcribes the speech, adds animated captions in trending styles, and can automatically cut silences and bad takes, add zooms, sound effects, emojis and B-roll, clean the audio and write a hook title and description. A Magic Clips feature cuts long videos into shorts, and there are tools for video translation, eye-contact correction and AI actor videos. Finished clips can be published to social accounts from the app, and an API lets agencies and developers automate the same editing. It's aimed at creators, coaches, agencies and small businesses who post short videos often and don't want to caption them by hand. There's no permanent free plan; paid plans are priced per member and limit the number and length of videos each month, with 4K and more templates on higher tiers.

Best for: Creators and agencies who want styled captions and quick edits on short vertical videos.
