About SwissTransfer

SwissTransfer is a free file transfer service run by Infomaniak, a Swiss hosting company. You can send up to 50 GB in one go without creating an account, choose how long the transfer stays available up to 30 days, limit the number of downloads, and protect it with a password. Files are stored in Infomaniak's own data centres in Switzerland, which appeals to people who prefer European privacy rules. Because the free tier is so generous, it is a common recommendation for anyone hitting WeTransfer's caps. A paid SwissTransfer Pro option adds extra features for professional users. It works in any browser and has mobile apps for iOS and Android. The trade-off is fewer collaboration and tracking extras than business-oriented services.

Best for: Anyone who wants generous free transfers with data kept in Switzerland.
