About Files.com

Files.com is a cloud platform for businesses that exchange files with partners and systems, not just people. It provides hosted SFTP, FTP and other protocol endpoints, so existing scripts and partners can connect without you running servers, plus web-based sharing, file requests and branded portals for human users. On top of that sit automations that move, transform and route files between Files.com and storage such as S3, Azure, Google Cloud, SharePoint or on-premises servers, with audit logs, compliance controls and accelerated transfer. It is aimed at IT and operations teams replacing ageing in-house FTP servers or heavyweight managed file transfer software. Pricing starts with a plan that includes a set number of full and system users, outbound connections and storage, with add-ons for more of each, billed monthly or annually; Enterprise plans add stronger capabilities. A free trial is available. It is far more than a person sending a video needs.

Best for: IT teams replacing self-run FTP servers or legacy managed file transfer software.
