About ThreatDown

ThreatDown is the business security brand of Malwarebytes. It protects company computers with a single lightweight agent and a cloud console called Nebula, while managed service providers get a multi-tenant console called OneView. Products are sold as bundles that build on each other: Core covers next-generation antivirus, device control and vulnerability assessment; Advanced adds endpoint detection and response, patch management and ransomware rollback that restores encrypted files up to seven days back; Elite and Ultimate add round-the-clock managed detection and response from ThreatDown's analysts, plus identity threat detection on the top tier. Add-ons cover DNS filtering, email security, server and mobile protection. The agent runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Pricing is published per device per year, with a discount for multi-year terms, which is unusual in this market. It is aimed at small and mid-size organisations with lean IT teams rather than large security operations centres.

Best for: Small and mid-size businesses or MSPs wanting EDR and MDR without a big security team.
