About Traceloop
Traceloop monitors and evaluates LLM applications using OpenTelemetry. Its OpenLLMetry SDK, Apache-2.0 licensed and open source, instruments calls to model providers, vector databases and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex and CrewAI, and can send traces either to Traceloop or to any of the many observability backends that accept OpenTelemetry. The hosted platform adds dashboards, built-in quality checks such as faithfulness and relevance, custom evaluators trained on your own annotated examples, prompt management and CI/CD gates that run evals on pull requests. A free plan covers up to 50,000 spans a month, and Enterprise adds unlimited seats, custom retention and on-prem or air-gapped deployment. Traceloop's site now says it is joining ServiceNow, so the long-term shape of the standalone product may change.
Best for: Teams that want vendor-neutral OpenTelemetry tracing for LLM apps, including air-gapped setups.
