About Way of Life
Way of Life is a long-standing habit tracker for iPhone and iPad that keeps things deliberately simple. Each habit is marked green or red (or skipped) for the day, and the resulting colour bars and trend charts make it easy to see how your behaviour actually compares with how you think it is going. It treats breaking bad habits as seriously as building good ones, so tracking drinking, snacking or screen time is as natural as tracking exercise. A short note can be attached to any day, which turns the log into a lightweight diary of what helped or hurt. Reminders nudge you to log, and charts can be filtered over weeks, months or years. The app is free to try with a limited number of habits, and a premium upgrade unlocks unlimited habits and extras. It has a loyal following, but it is Apple-only and has changed little in recent years, so it lacks the integrations newer apps offer.
Best for: iPhone users who want a quick yes/no log of good and bad habits with notes.
