About Wayground
Wayground is the new name for Quizizz, the classroom activity platform many teachers use for quick quizzes and review games. A teacher builds or borrows an activity, then runs it live in class or assigns it as homework, and students answer on their own devices at their own pace rather than racing a shared screen. Beyond quizzes it covers interactive slide lessons, videos with embedded questions, flashcards and auto-graded homework, and it can generate a full activity with AI from a topic, document or standard. Assessments can run as a game or as a stricter exam with lockdown and tab-switch alerts, and accessibility options include read-aloud, dyslexia-friendly fonts and translation. Individual teachers can sign up free, while schools and districts buy paid plans by quote that add LMS, rostering and SSO integration plus admin reporting. It runs in the browser, with teacher and student apps for iOS and Android and a Chrome extension.
