About Yellowbrick
Yellowbrick is a SQL data warehouse for enterprise analytics, ad-hoc queries and streaming workloads that you deploy where you want the data to live: in your own AWS, Azure or Google Cloud account, a private cloud or an on-premises data center. It runs on a Kubernetes-based architecture, and its pitch centres on keeping data under your control for security, residency and sovereignty rules. Many customers come from legacy appliances such as IBM Netezza or from Redshift and Databricks setups where cost has become hard to predict. Pricing is per vCPU, either as one- or three-year subscriptions or on-demand with per-second metering, and you pay your cloud or hardware costs separately; 24x7 support is included. There's no free tier, but a trial is offered. It suits larger organisations with data teams rather than small startups looking for a fully managed SaaS warehouse.
Best for: Enterprises that need a fast SQL warehouse kept inside their own cloud account or data center.
