About Zoho Invoice

Zoho Invoice is Zoho's standalone invoicing app, and it is free for small businesses. It covers quotes, invoices, recurring invoices, payment reminders, online payments through common gateways, expense and time tracking for billable work, and a customer portal where clients can view and pay. Zoho keeps it free because it feeds users towards Zoho Books and the rest of its suite; when you need bank reconciliation, bills, sales tax returns or proper financial reports, Zoho Books is the natural upgrade and imports the same data. Payment gateway fees still apply. It runs in the browser and on iOS and Android. The limitation is scope: it is not accounting software, so you still need something else, or an accountant with a spreadsheet, for the books. For freelancers who mainly need to send professional invoices and get paid, it is one of the best free options available.
