About Odoo Accounting

Odoo is a Belgian business suite made of dozens of apps, from CRM and inventory to HR and ecommerce, and its Accounting app is one of the most used. It covers invoicing, bills, bank synchronisation and reconciliation with AI-assisted matching, multi-currency, multi-company, tax returns, budgets, assets and detailed reports, and it shares data with the other Odoo apps, which is the real reason to pick it. Odoo comes in an LGPL-licensed Community edition you can self-host for free and a paid Enterprise edition; full Accounting is an Enterprise app. On Odoo Online you can run one app free with unlimited users, while paid plans are per user per month for all apps. It runs in the browser with mobile apps. Expect to invest in setup: Odoo is flexible, but configuration, localisation and partner fees can add up, and it is more than a small shop needs.

Best for: Growing businesses that want accounting inside one suite with inventory, sales and HR.
