About Blip

Blip sends files straight from one device to another without uploading them to cloud storage first, so the recipient starts receiving as soon as you press send. You add friends or your own devices, then drag files onto them; transfers have no size limit, run over a fast relay when a direct connection isn't possible, and resume automatically after network drops, sleeping laptops or unplugged drives. It works between Macs, Windows PCs, iPhones, iPads and Android devices, near or far. Because files are never parked on a server, there are no web links for recipients who don't have the app. Blip is free for personal, hobby, education and charity use, with paid plans for work and commercial use, and it shows no ads. It suits people who regularly move very large folders, like photographers and video editors, between their own machines or a small circle of collaborators.

Best for: Photographers and editors moving huge folders between their own devices or close collaborators.
