About Bubbl.us

Bubbl.us is one of the oldest online mind mapping tools and is still a common choice in schools. You type an idea into a bubble, add children and siblings with the keyboard, colour-code branches and drag bubbles into place, and you can try an example map straight away without creating an account. Maps can be shared for collaboration, presented, and exported as images or other formats. Paid plans remove the limits of the free tier and add more maps, attachments, collaboration features and central license management for teams and schools, and the company highlights hosting in certified data centres. It is easy enough for children, but the feature set is basic, there are no native desktop or mobile apps, and the interface looks plainer than newer competitors.

Best for: Teachers and students who want a dead-simple online mind map.
